How Much Do People Hate Airlines You Think?

On the way to New Orleans, my luggage decided it wanted to take a short detour through Atlanta.  I guess it wanted to do some sightseeing.  Who knows.  Anyway, after much cajoling and negotiating, the airline agreed to reimburse me for a change of clothes (and a car seat so I wouldn't have to leave my son at the airport).  I didn't need a change of clothes, since I was staying with my cousin (the one whose closet I ransacked) but a fool airline and its money are soon parted, so I bought a couple of things to list on eBay, the nicest one of which (in my opinion) is the dress pictured above.

I listed the dress for 99 cents, and wrote the same story in the item description.  Let's see how many people will bid out of airline hatred, shall we? To check out the listing, click here.

That dress is cute. I checked out your auction and you may want to look at it because it looks like there is some weird HTML code in the seller added part. Just an FYI!

And I am sorry about your BOA story. Ughhh!!

Thanks, KLZ! If you win it I'll give you free shipping just for commenting on my blog, how's that?

I look forward to reading more of your blog, I didn't get much of a chance to read older posts the other day but I'm hoping to get caught up on my blogs over the weekend!

They bought you a new carseat, or just a change of clothes?

That stinks they sent your luggage elsewhere, but I'm glad you got some cash for your troubles! Always a good customer sevice move on their part to do that. :)

They were going to lend me a car seat, but the guy at the counter said "we don't have any" and was going to leave it at that! However, after asking to speak to his supervisor, he gave me to taxi vouchers to go to Walmart, leaving my husband and son at the airport, so I could go buy a car seat. They then wrote me a check for the car seat once I showed them the receipt.

The worst of it is I accidentally overdrew my account in the process, so now Bank of America is gouging me to the tune of $140.
