Success! The buyer was pleased about his new jeans, and has very nicely agreed to revise his feedback. He's even agreed to revise from a negative to a positive - much more than I was hoping for. That just goes to show:
eBay Lesson Number 6: Every transaction is an opportunity to set yourself apart from other sellers. Even transactions where you LOSE money add value - they get your name out there and give you a chance to create customer loyalty.
