Investing in the Biz

I took the plunge this weekend.  Up until now, I've taken my eBay earnings and used them to buy my lunch, get my haircut and drink my latte (all the things that don't fit into our budget without the eBaying).  This weekend, I decided to take some of my earnings and reinvest them in my business.  Here's what I bought:

1) A printer.  No longer will I steal ink and paper from my employer.
2) A postal scale.  It's VERY cool.  It tells me how much stuff weighs.
3) Inventory!!  That's right, inventory!

Here's how the inventory thing came about.  I bough the awesome maxi dress you see in the picture on a trip out of town (click here and check out the listing).  When I got home, I realized I'd grabbed the wrong size on my way out of the store.  Since we don't have that same department store where I live, I decided to send the dress back to the big return policy in the sky (eBay).  Well, turns out the damn thing is pretty hard to get, and it's gotten so much attention in the first few days of the listing that I decided to hunt more of them down to sell for a profit!

Ladies and gentlement, I am proud to report I am now the owner of two Angie multi-colored maxi dresses (one S, one L), which I plan on listing for a fixed price next weekend. :)  And, it looks like I got the last two in the DC Metro area. :P

Wish me luck!  Or better yet, stop by the listing and take a look!
